Tangy red cherries, currants, syrupy consistency and high acidity. Tannins were smoothed out with age. — 23 days ago
Aromatic in that “saucy” baijiu way, nutty, yeasty and savory rice. Salinity in the background - much enhanced by (liquid) olives! Also, why has no one made a dirty (with olive juice) sherry spritzer yet?? @ Mercado Little Spain — 3 days ago
Flinty and mineral, tropical fruits to citrus. Solidly dry and good acidity. — 17 days ago
Tannins have softened but still lend a nice structure, tasted angular rather than round. Dark red fruit, blackberries, relatively fresh. Graphite and a good mix of spices, cinnamon stick. Medium finish. @ La Tete d’Or — 3 days ago
Easy, well-balanced Riesling. Dry but not very dry. Crisp and clean finish. Great for daily drinking and an absolute steal for Mosel at $15. — 9 days ago
Very nice Burgundian-style chardonnay with Oregon terroir. Polite, refined, and balanced. @ Chambers — 17 days ago
A serviceable if rather plain pinot noir. Made in a light and fresh style - translucent garnet color with red fruit, black tea, and a hint of spice. — a month ago

Spätlese trocken is so interesting. This wine has a mouthwatering acidity and tons of bright, underripe tropical fruit (pineapple) and green apple notes. Slight whiff of flint on the nose but not stinky. Missing a bit of the mineral/slate of Mosel (don’t know what you’ve got til it’s not there…) but strangely has a bit of a tannic finish which helps with structure. @ noreetuh and delightful with Hawaiian food. — 2 days ago
