A little sweeter than expected for a dry red. Busting with berries and spice finish. Heavy mixed fruit. Would pair better with a grilled red meat! — a month ago
First taste is tart. Once it breathes it settles down to a delicious fruity meal of dark berry, cherry combo. Mid palate brings out spice and leather. Ending notes are plum. — 2 months ago
Spicy nose. Plum front. Spice and licorice mid palate. Earthy finish! Pair with the grill - Brisket!! — 12 days ago
Interestingly smoky on the nose. Chewy at first sip as if strained through leather. Dark berry mid pallet with bark and spice finish. Humorous as some share a forest floor taste which I guess would depend on which forest. The wine is good and would go great with saucy pastas. Two thumbs up. Finally, with a good cigar the cherry flavor pops big time!!! — a month ago
Nice fruity nose with honey suckle and berries. First on palet is mulberry and white pepper. Full bodied fruits with a medium leather finish. Great with chili and tacos. — 3 months ago
Deeply strong currents on the nose with woodsy, earthy first taste along with a smooth licorice that fades quickly into a chewy raspberry/mulberry finish and a hint of Tobacco. Goes great with filet mignon. Yes, filet mignon!!! — a month ago
Great nose! Great wake-up on the front with medium fruit and assorted berries. Mid palate hold is quite nice with a consistent level of sweetness and tart but still nice and dry. Perfect finish with a calm spice push. Fabulous!!! — 2 months ago
