This wine gives an instant hint of cherry on the palate, yet it's not sweet. It lingers just enough to balance its fuller body, which I am admittedly not used to liking. It opens up slightly as it breathes, although I wish its flavors evolved a little more. In the end, I still mainly taste the hint of cherry and full oakiness.
