Smells like a fresh cut green pepper - needs major decanting. One of those wines I would open one night and drink the next. Once decanted it showed some nice complexity on the palette with a decently long smooth finish.

Pretty consistent Zin - not to much heat like some. Exactly as it says on the bottle... Spicy and jammy. Not my favorite but very approachable.

Definitely an old world style Syrah from CA. Not the typical big, fruity, jammy... A bit more subtle with dusty earth on the nose that follows through to the palette.
