Just received this Sterling Vineyard Wine Club shipment- 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Calistoga, Napa Valley; 2018 Petit Syrah, Napa Valley; and 2019 Sauvignon Blanc. Will lay these down for awhile but looking forward to drinking them when the time comes. — 5 years ago

Enjoyed 2006 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve with beef tenderloin and classic Roquefort salad. Perfect pairing - soft tannins; classic Napa nose; deep fruit. Also had 2007 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon to compare the two. 2007 still has a few years in the bottle. We have 2008, 2009, and 2010 and are excited about tasting them all. Classic big Napa Cabernet. Decanted nicely. Tannins still discernible. Dark fruit-blackberries, cassis, tobacco flavor is subtle, nice finish. Perfect for our first outdoor grilled rib eye upon our return from sunny Florida. — 5 years ago
