30 minutes in a decanter: great. 120 minutes: dumb. 5 hours: Amazing. Blackberry cobbler on the nose with a hint of graphite. Eucalyptus, old leather and cigar box across the mid. And the finish, my god, sweet oak, violets and raspberry jam. It keeps building and building. Maybe the best wine I've ever had the privilege to drink. — 11 years ago

Fruit forward with subtle oak. Plum, pomegranate and a touch of cola. Nose of black tea and cocoa nibs. — 11 years ago
The Fork
Raspberry, bing cherry and white pepper. Super fine tannins and clean finish. I could drink this every day and I don't like Sta. Rita Pinot. Judicious use of new oak. — 11 years ago
