Good. Sweet to the palette. Was well paired with fish, but would try with chicken or pork. — 2 years ago
Nice semi-dry to semi-sweet. — 4 years ago
surprise surprise - hit or miss with this NC winery, but this is fantastic! Left Bank style, classy oak integration, gobs of red & black fruit, prominent spice and secondary layers, great extraction & tannic grip. just really solid & enjoyable all the way round. bump for QPR — 5 months ago
One of my personal favorites! Very oak heavy, with a creamy and buttery feel. Hints on sweetness but not overpowering. — 2 years ago
Fruity and sweet red blend that is just really enjoyable. — 3 years ago
Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, leather, sweet spices and roasted nuts. Cooked Black berry/raspberry/cherry fruit on the palate with notes of dark chocolate, plums and sweet and savory spices. Hint of vanilla on the long and silky finish. Smooth tannins but a bit light on acidity. Pleasant and well crafted. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 7 months ago

A little sweeter than I generally like but a great expression of Gewurztraminer. Enjoyed with a not too spicy stir fry and would expect the stone fruits and honey to pair well with other flavorful and or spicy foods. Picked this up on a visit to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC - definitely a reason to return to their tasting room. — 10 days ago
