This wine has a rich yellow-green tint. On the nose I thought I smelled some oak, but I was mistaken. It’s all steel. There is an overriding salinity that mutes the floral, apricot and citrus aspects a bit. The palate carries that salinity as well. That, plus a racy acidity, makes me want some oysters with it. — 5 years ago
Peach, pear, with floral notes. Light and refreshing. Great as an aperitif or paired with scallops, shrimp cocktail, seafood salad — 8 years ago
Pazo de Lusco sits in the glass as a lovely, light yellow liquid. The nose shows off the aromas for which the grape is famous - green apples, flowers and minerals. The minerals take center stage on the palate, which is rich and savory. It is the minerals which stand out the most here, making this a great wine for pairing with food. I had mine with a Mexican shrimp dish, but it will fit well with other spicy cuisines, too, like Thai or Cajun. — 3 years ago
Fresh nose of yellow fruits with a sweet touch. On the palate similar as the nose with the Albariño from Rias Baixas typical saltiness and hints of iodine — 7 years ago
Another weekly wine Committee lunch that I was able to attend, hosted by @Weston Eidson & @Colby Siratt. Excellent job, fellas! All wines tasted blind as usual.
I believe this was my first Albariño, so it was hard to guess correctly here! Thought it was possibly an Alsatian Pinot Gris due to the oily and lengthy finish. — 9 years ago
Blend of 60% Albariño, the other part made up of Treixadura, Loureiro & Caino.
Very light & fresh, salty & rocky on the nose. Hardly any fruit. Shy at this stage.
Nice, creamy & quite firm mouthfeel. Salty, fresh, juicy. Shy lemons, salty rocks, a hint of white peach & green pear. Nice presence, depth & length. Savoury & much better with food as this has some weight.
Very good. — 4 years ago
Saline, peach fuzz, and minerality. High acid with phenolic bitterness. The absence of malolactic is noticeable as the acid drives on the finish. Lemon rind tartness. — 7 years ago
£8.95 TWS. 2013 vintage. Love, love, love!!! Not an overly long finish but gorgeous flavours and easy to drink. Aftertaste not quite as nice as the initial mouthful but still lovely wine. — 12 years ago

Somewhat rounder and not quite as dry as some other albarinos out there. Very pleasant balance between fruit, acidity, alcohol and small remaining hints of sugar. — a year ago
