2020 tried in Apr 2023, good mouth feel, earthy nose, light body , good acidity for food. Nice light finish — 3 years ago
Golden yellow color. On the nose citrusy with stone fruits nuances. Otherwise on the palate really tasty and fruit driven. Juicy mouth feel with a lot of pear notes, melon and peaches. Even after some minutes you can feel nice aroma of pears on your gums. Really nice balance with low minerality makes this wine easy to drink and really enjoyable. Definitely excellent quality for the money. Bought from Palermo for 11€. — 4 years ago
Amazing!! Taste like Umeshu “Japanese plum wine” but higher class, I guess. Great!! — 5 years ago

Popped and poured. The 2019 Amador County is energy in a bottle. Deep straw bordering light golden color. Medium viscosity. Medium+ intensity. Generous fruit with bright notes of yellow apple, quince, passion fruit, white flowers, ginger, and persimmon. On the palate, the wine is dry with ripping acid. Confirmed the tart yellow apples which are joined by San Pellegrino-like minerals and lanolin. A wine of lovely texture. The finish is long and immensely satisfying. This is my favorite Sandlands Chenin to-date; checking off so many boxes. — 5 years ago
Apples. Pellegrino sized bubbles. — 6 years ago
Pet Nat, natch. Floral and subtle apple notes. Very tart and has that kind of micro-effervescent mineral quality but it just smacks your palate. This is not a pink Pellegrino, if you will. Though, it is a modest 10.5% ABV, and as a real hand-to-mouth kind of drinker, I’m always into something I can mindlessly pound. Highly recommended. — 7 years ago
