2012. We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this 10 year old, $10 dark red blend (maybe because our cellar is woefully under represented in dry Portuguese wines). Equal parts Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Tinto Roriz; and Castelão. The fruit was deep but not jammy, smooth tannins, and a little acidity and brett to lift up the finish. — 4 years ago

Vin agréable, assez corsé, assez puissant.

Fantastic orange wine — a year ago
Vi hadde denne da vi spilte brasiliansk buffet. Den passet til entrecôte, indrefilet, kylling og lam. Den er fyldig, men lettdrikkelig sammen med kjøtt. — 3 years ago
Expected this to be past its prime but it’s beautiful. Aromas: floral, spice, sandlewood, cherry tobacco. Fresh black plum on the palate. Good acidity and structure. Wish I had more to share with friends. — 6 years ago
Interesting earthy red. Aragones, Syrah, and Castelao — 7 years ago
Interesting Kurt wine from Portugal. Mineral and sav Blanc like but with an interesting flavor. Would try again. — 2 years ago
Nice light fruity bio — 3 years ago
Interesting Portuguese wine, grown right by Colares but not in the DOC. Powerful wine, with dark red and black fruits, tobacco, tar, and great spice. High ABV, notable international the nose but less so on the palate. Available in NYC for a good bit less than $20 per bottle: not bad! — 6 years ago

Brought this back from Portugal in 2023 and finally drank it. Awesome wine even if it was maybe a little past its prime. Classic Vinho Verde citrus and floral nose and a dash of minerality. On the tongue it's missing that light effervescence I love but it still brings a lot of citrus and light fruit sweetness that balances the acidity. Would absolutely buy again if I can find it over here! — 6 months ago
