Much more full bodied than I expect from a Beaujolais. Blackberries and dark fruits initially and a little funky and dry at the end. Perfect with polenta and roasted mushrooms — 6 years ago

5 years is what it takes for this typical Moulin-à-Vent, with woody notes associated with a long masseration to give a wine more robust than the average of Gamay wines. A beautiful wine which strongly recalls Burgundy , for the delicate richness offered by the palate. Very fine and delicious. — 5 years ago
