Full. Had it with figs. Incredible. — 10 years ago
30 years old. Of course it shows a bit its age, of course there is an orange rim in the glass, of course the nose is mostly tertiary aromas (wet forest soil, mushroom, earth, leather...) but there is still plenty of life in there! There is still fruit (strawberry) and some dried, fading rose petal scent too. The secondary are still here too with tobacco and a bit of cedar. The palate is still well designed by a wonderful acid backbone with a rather wide and long drive that lasts a very long while. Some strawberry, red forest berries, some good grip, some dusty tannins that integrated fully now and the fresh finish which lasts with notes of rose, fruit and a bit of mint. Not the best I've had but a nice tasting experience with the family. — 6 years ago

Pretty happy with this Bordeaux blend but unhappy that I won't be able to buy at Costco again. Purchased almost 4 yrs ago. Enjoyed with cheesy tomatillo enchiladas with chizo, squash and spinach rice (courtesy of Blue Apron). This was nice and smooth, good bold dark fruit up front, some pepper and tobacco. Great price at $14. — 5 years ago
