Roasted pineapple on the nose and mid palate. Pears are also evident in the mix.
Butterscotch notes combine with bold citrus notes. Relaxed acid makes this a huge knee-trembler. Wifey loves it, as do I! — 21 days ago
Close friend gifted us this over 15 years ago. This has stood still and I’m loving it. Typical Bdx profile displaying saddle leather, wood and smoke from the barrel toast. Tannins are moderate and standing tall. Outstanding in my book. — a month ago
Lazy weekend with my family, and this product has never fallen short.
A beautiful, zippy/zesty, exotic rendition of SB, displaying white fleshed tropical fruits, a beautiful acid structure and moderate sweetness. I can’t remember what I paid for it, but it was worth every cent. — 6 days ago
This doesn’t deserve a rating, it’s that poor…
You have been warned. — 11 days ago
Wine Spectator peaked my interest with a whopping 94 pt rating for this example.
It doesn’t fall short, either.
Brioche and roasted almonds on the nose are chased by a honied, almost decadent mid palate. It’s exotic and dense. Loved it so much we procured a case 👊🏾 — a month ago
Sparse notes; very well presented. Young and tannic. Tart cherries transition to barrel toast and prominent tannins. Better in 2-3 years, but quaffable now with air exposure.

Hollow. One dimensional. Not worth your attention. Nothing of note here… this will be immediately dispatched. — 11 days ago
Good god. I have no words get some!

Delicate nose of lemons and limes. Nice balanced mouthfeel with Granny Smiths and pears. Moderate weight and finish, with moderate acidity make this a great value buy.

So impressed with this vintage. Deep and concentrated nose and palate. Displays quince and white fleshed fruits, coupled with a dense, oily mouthfeel. Superb length with very little acidity to talk about. Finishes sweet and voluptuous. Overall, the integration is textbook. — 4 days ago
