The night goes on and we start popping up local good stuff. Imagine, this is sold by the family to my friend directly for about 25 EUR a bottle back then, 30 EUR now. It's not a steal it's a heist... superb raspberry, cherry and hay notes with some earthy and oaky touches. A palate that goes on for ever, gentle tannins that add a gentle layer of complexity. This is burgundian to a T and it shows a superior terroir. And for a price that leaves a smile on your face. Dijon is the place! — 6 days ago
Very last bottle of this. Again the cork is fully soaked. The nose is typical cherry and red berries, along with an earthy thing and a bit of hay. The palate is acid driven and very long. There is a nice matter, a gentle mouthfeel, a nice cherry and red berries note all along, almost a sweet spot on the sides. In the rear some tannins pop in creating a layer of disturbance in the mouthfeel that remains hanging in there for a very long finish with fruit. It's very good but it's starting to show early signs of aging and I don't believe the bottle could have waited much longer before going south. A little less fruity than aux damodes, a bit stricter and longer. Cool nevertheless — 5 years ago

Domaine Gavignet-Béthanie et filles, Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Athées 2023
A newer cuvée that I had never tasted yet. Village appelation but single vineyard. Very fruity and easy going. Apéritif, not so serious wine made for immediate enjoyment. Delicious with a charcuterie board and cheese. Cherry and raspberry on the nose, hay, light earthy notes. Generous and juicy palate with a good acid drive, juicy cherry notes all along, light tannins and a persistent finish that carries on for a while. Great, quaffable fix of Pinot from Côte de Nuits. — 5 days ago
