A David Trumper recommended wine, great bottle for $16.00 at K&L Notes from K&L as follows Each Carline wine is a reflection of the blue marl soil and its unique top soil. The Calvaire is the most classically Jura, showing leesy and nutty tones with searing minerality. This is the most cerebral of the single parcel Chardonnays with subtLe nuances that make you keep coming back to the glass. My tasting notes equate this to 1er Cru Chablis but still very Jura in its overall character. A puzzle worth solving for sure! — 3 years ago
