We’ve been drinking pretty crappy wines lately... to me, this one tastes GREAT! It pours out not deep red, but sort of transparent. The aroma is sort of spicy cherry. Not tannic. Easy drinking stuff. Nicely balanced with medium finish. Would pair very well with lots of foods. We had it with cheesy omelet and avocado slices...and it worked! — 7 years ago
Little petite sirah after the 100th anniversary livermore rodeo. Concannon from livermore was the first to release petite sirah as a varietal wine in the 1960s. Good thing because the varietal is great when it's done right. This example from napa is a delicious reason why it's not just a blending grape. — 8 years ago

One of my last heavy bottles with the Concannon gate embossed above the label, this wine had aged by. Paired it with a London Broil it was full bodied with red & black cherries, mint, and well balanced. — 10 months ago
