Soft tannins and nice spice. Paired nicely with venison — 7 years ago
This one grew strong in the dark! Enormous acrid/tannic nose that calms, but never fully dissipates. Thick and leggy. Thought it was going to be a fruit/tobacco monster, but, again, it settled down to a pretty well-rounded cherry bomb.
Edit: Beware the dregs. — 9 years ago
Red fruit and herbal notes. Vanilla on the nose and finish. Paired with cast iron skillet roasted chicken and chanterelle mushrooms. — 10 years ago
This is an amazing wine. I think it needs to age a few years. I should have used my Wine Breather. I picked this up directly from the winery and it was well worth it! Needs to breath other than that it's an amazing wine — 10 years ago

This really needs the @Bill Bender photo treatment to deflect the snickering, but it was a surprisingly balanced and delicious wine. #meow — 9 years ago

Upon the first few sips it had depth and a nice spice edge but it rapidly became flat. Lacked vibrancy. Was able to Stan up to it complement our pork bbq ribs. — 7 years ago

Not usually a N. America merlot fan, but this is mighty fine! Big and jammy, without being too sweet. Absolutely no off flavors, with a gradual, clean finish. — 8 years ago

An exceptional wine from this small Spokane Washington winery. It’s a blend of all their top grapes and one of the oldest Cabernet vineyards in the state. Still drinking quite well. Good harmony still exist between the fruits and the tannins Quite pleased. — 2 years ago
