This wine is in a different orbit. I can safely say I have never tasted a wine this smooth, this balanced, this subtle… this uplifting. Fine polished tannins take this juicy, vibrant fruit infused with black olive and lifted with earthy notes from the stones of the Rocks District to a finish that stays with you for minutes and can only make you think of one thing: I want another sip…. but I I want this wine to last for ever ….good problem to have 😁. Like Nicholas Joly said. A good wine makes you feel something deeply inside and you can ‘feel’ the wine. This one sure did. — 5 days ago
Dark fruit heavily infused with tobacco, leather, and rounded tannins giving it balance and a lingering finish. — 2 months ago

While we ‘were’ in Burgundy, we hopped on over to Champagne and experienced Christophe Baron’s Champagne. Made from Pinot Meunier. A blanc de noir Champaign. Everything was in sync from the fine persistent bubbles lifting flavors of crisp stone fruit to the finishing notes of lightly toasted bread. Loved it!! And, amazingly, this magnum bottle kept its tension and sass for four days since first opened!! — 2 hours ago
Whoa, what a sneaky wine. Very subtle upfront and then an explosion of citrus, passionfruit flavors all in perfect harmony. — 8 days ago

Not every day you get to drink a 22 year old wine. This Rioja had all the aging characteristics. Wide orange ora around the rim, oak, earth and cigar infused with dried fruit (that way, not the other way around). The oak was still so strong, I can only imagine how it would have been upon first release. It had lots of uplift g vibrancy and the layers of complexity made it a real interesting wine. — 15 days ago

Meh. Super oaky. Couldn’t taste the wine. Not even after 10 years of aging. — 2 months ago

From the Andes of Argentina to the Chablis, France. The benchmark for Chardonnay. Super smooth, textured and all in harmony. Evolving flavors on the finish and the course of finishing the bottle. Hard to beat! — 2 hours ago
The first of four Chardonnay’s from around the world. This explosive Chardonnay comes from a vineyard at about 4300 feet in the shadow of the Andes. Minerally, crisp, clean and structured. — 3 hours ago
The times I helt a bottle like this in my hands, I can probably count on only one hand. Even for Delectable this is a rare occasion because it didn’t know how to correctly recognize it. When a wine connects like this, lifts you off the ground and takes you to a beautiful place, you know it is good. Intense, but perfectly balanced, so many instruments playing that still echo for minutes in a lingering finish. 26 years old yet so vibrant and wild with dark punchy fruits encapsulated by aged mahogany wood that released different flavors every time I took a sip… yeah… life is good. Offered by a friend who loves wine and even more loves to share! — 9 days ago

And from France…. right to Idaho! A Chardonnay from the oldest Chardonnay vineyard in Idaho. Planted in the late nineteenth century eighties facing the Snake River from 2,700 feet elevation. An American style Chardonnay, if that exists, aged in new American oak. Slightly creamy, hints of sweet vanilla oak flavors well integrated with a high acidic, well structured wine with lifted minerals on the finish. — an hour ago
