This Pinot is from the Russian River Valley, one of the first AVA's I really fell in love with for well made Pinot Noir. This example doesn't disappoint. A very nice Burgundian made Pinot. Ruby red in color with aromas giving off hints of cherries, raspberries, with hints of camp fire. There is a velvety mouth feel, cola, strawberries, spice, and a nice minerality. Nice effort from DeLoach Vineyards. I would definitely recommend this wine. — 13 years ago
