Atherton Wine Imports 2026 tasting at République, Los Angeles. 2024 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. At $46 a btl resto cost, this was excellent. Slightly voluptuous. Putting this one at the top of the wish/shopping list. 3.18.26. — 3 days ago
2023 vintage. Courtesy of @Pinotman /// Andreas. 12.2% ABV. Light-medium body. Slight hint of initial sweetness before casting it off. Obscene amounts of stone fruit flavors on the finishing palate. Clean almost to a fault. Trace amount of petrol made a cameo appearance on the intro after 1.5 hours open. Nice bleep @Pinotman /// Andreas. Thank you again! — a day ago

2023 vintage. Second (white) wine tasted from this producer and second, double thumbs up. Medium body and similarly weighty oak detail. Spicy finish. A little fleshy. A little oaky. A little jicama (!?) and lychee thang just hang(ing) there. Splash of mineral influences. Fairly forward with only one, or two, side quest(s). $64 USD resto cost...pre-tariff pricing. With tariffs? Haha. A few years ago, this woulda been $35-40. Ouch. 3.19.26. — 2 days ago
2018 vintage. Last tasted 12.5.25 (9.4), 1.31.25 (9.4) and 10.27.23 (9.4). Bigg stuff...which is something I never would have said about Spottswoode vintages back in the 80's and 90's. The new premium Coravin btg Napa Cab. 3.19.26. — 2 days ago

2019 vintage. Contribution to the FLB (Friday Lunch Bunch) along with @Pinotman /// Andreas and an appreciative regular. Medium/medium-heavy body. Darker fruit and spices aplenty this effort. Not quite as ripe as other CDLT efforts (maybe a dozen at this point¿?) tasted in the last two years. Far from flashy, this Pinot, unlike you, does its best work in the dark. The quality, effort and experience slowly creeps up and, before you know it, you’re actively planning a getaway weekend with it. Stealth juice. 3.20.26. — a day ago
