Just a brilliant brilliant wine. I cannot believe the value here. Nose is just sick. Deep berry, raspberry, cherry, sour cherry, blueberry, woodshop shavings, violets and other florals and so much more. This has so much stuffing it’s crazy. Extraordinary palate that is at once dense and at once nimble. Unreal sweet fruit and unreal, albeit youthful fruit and astonishing length. Crazy intense and brilliant inner mouth aromas and such complexity. Structure to burn and let’s see where we are in a few hours. Wow. — a day ago

Just a gorgeous bottle of Gevrey. Meaty, minty and somewhat feral but controlled aromas mix with more traditional dark cherry and black cherry. It’s got that Girard effusiveness. Gevrey is so particular. Palate is lush and deep with that slay 22 fruit. Fresh, energetic and opulent with extraordinarily delicate yet velvety sweet tannins. The 22’s are so so good now. Tangy, deep, pure and so fresh. Wow this is stunning. Yup, a 9.5. Let’s see what air does. — 3 days ago

In the zone as they say. Nose is bitter apple, some white cherries, kumquat, herbal and stunningly mineral. So expressive and maybe a hint of petroleum. Great depth, minerals and huge dry extract but so nimble and fresh. Juicy and pithy with lots of fruit flesh that is more towards the pit than when you bite into the fruit. So pure and drinking insane out of the bottle. Wow, so elegant and complex now with air. Maybe a 9.6? — 5 days ago

Nose is a spice bomb. Dried, desiccated leaves. Some mid season cherry, wet earth and everything about the nose says aged but with some youthful vigor. Palate is lush and rich, really good, with great concentration and freshness. Nimble and with wonderful acidity and such purity. Velvety sweet tannins and so focused. This is drinking so well. Terrific sweetness and love the classical structure. Long finish and still got some fuel to burn. Even better in 5-8 years. With air this gets so juicy and the energy really shines through. Wow the elegance shines through after 2 hours. 9.5 now. — a day ago

This is so fucking great. Nose is lanolin and white flowers. Herbal as well and so clean. Just stunning. Focused minerality as well. What a rich and silken texture that just floats in the mouth. Unreal concentration, density and complexity. Wow. This is by far the best Equinces ever. So complete and so compact. Just brilliant. Unreal density yet so nimble. This is genius! So elegant and textured with air. The controlled richness is so powerful in 21’s lean architectural style. — 4 days ago

Just terrific. White cherries, phyllo dough, yeast, minerals and some flowers. Palate is just gorgeous with plump fruit, razor sharp acidity and lovely salinity. Sappy and with nice extract and so juicy. I find the new Demets wines need air and thus will come together even more. — 5 days ago

I adore this bottling and my goodness did William kill 23. Gorgeous nose of wet earth, peppermint, soppy red and sour cherries, and my goodness like 4D limestone. William has arrived. This is a 9.6 nose. Pre tariffs and weak dollar this was $41!! My goodness this nose is legend. Just stunning. Juicy and so pure. Unreal balance and tangy red fruits and brilliantly framed oak. So pure. Unreal elegance. Just tremendous. Such crunch and energy. What a beauty. Such freshness. Let’s see what air does but this is a 9.5. The nose got insane with air. Just stunning. Nose is full on Cote Blonde on beast mode. Meaty beyond belief. Abattoir vibes. Gorgeous violets and insane florals. Just a symphony. Wild mint, herbs and so much more. Juicy and structured and needs mega air but my god the tannins and so fine and so well knit. But also big and dominant. This will settle. It always does. I’ll be back. It’s settled. Nose is even meatier. Fruit on palate is darker and sweeter. Tannins melting into sweet fruit. — 3 days ago

23 last night and 22 tonight. Gorgeous and man 22 is KINKY. This is such a seductive vintage. My favorite “warm” vintage ever. Nose is a punch in the face. Outrageous dark cherry and black cherry fruit. Like insane. So pure. So vivid. Just insane. Ridiculous. So dense. 9.7 nose. I said what I said. Gorgeous dustiness underneath it all. But my god the nose fruit purity is blowing my mind. Palate is LIGHTS OUT but needs air. Juicy and deep but dominated by tannins but the attack gives it teeth. Wow. Finish is clipped but I believe in this wine and it will deliver as 23 needed 3-6 hours and this will as well. — 5 days ago

Such a pretty nose. Gorgeous elegant florals, lipstick like intensity and sour cherries and mid season cherries. Gorgeous purity and intensity but a bit closed on the finish but fresh and wonderful acids. Really clear fruit but this clearly needs air as did the Savigny Narbantons but that was more structure dominated and this is more acid - structure doninated. But the nose is singing like nothing else. Gorgeous velvety tannins that coat the cheeks and extraordinary concentration and depth. After many hours this got super opulent and was so seductive.
