Luscious and feminine on the nose. Satin waves of clean red fruit and subtle tea notes. Super nicely balanced and clean in the mouth. Tart and expressive with powerful fruit and nuanced oak. Bright and explosive finish with long fruit going on and on. The hint of bite let’s you know where it’s from. Not Burgundian but a truly beautiful expression of New Zealand Pinot — 8 years ago

On the nose, fresh red roses, raspberries, cherries, dark cherries, plum and light spices. M+ tannins, slightly meaty, lean bodied, ripe, fruits of; blackberries, black cherries, black plum, cherries, strawberries & raspberries. Nice fine chalkiness, soft volcanic minerals, soft fragrant red florals, light spices with good acidity and good finish that also drinks well young.
