Excellent rose! — 4 years ago
Really likes this blend when we tasted it at the vineyard. Was a killer deal when we bought a bottle to drink with the amazing wood fired pizza they were serving on the weekends last summer. Got a nice funk to the nose, still lots of nice fruit for the vintage. Lovely for the price. — 7 years ago
Lovely merlot without being too fruit forward. Higher acid with clean berries. — 8 years ago
2007- plenty of acid still — 10 years ago
Wonderful mouth even shortly after uncorked. I love cab francs and this is one of the better I have enjoyed. We bought at the historic White House in Hood River OR. Grapes from Dineen Vineyards Zillah, WA — 11 years ago
My favorite white wine! Perfect for warm summer evenings. — 11 years ago
Columbia Valley, 413 cases produced. Aging is about right, flavors of cola and spearmint with a mildly tannic finish, alongside some blackberry, raspberry and cherry. 30% new French oak is apparent in nose and mouth and just in balance, with decent acid and just a lingering aftertaste of white pepper. Grapes from Wallula and Dineen Vineyards, 51/49 split. — 2 years ago
Dineen Vineyard, Rattlesnake Hills. This is a lighter style of Malbec fermented with native yeast, whole clusters. 11.2% alc/vol. Purple, moderately extracted pigment, very good clarity. Butter, tobacco and red fruit aromas initially. Raspberry and black currant flavors with length and a bit of cherry, moderate seed bitterness and skin astringency. Needs time to open. Acidity is light, almost rounded mouthfeel, fruit with length, but you need to give those tannins about 30 minutes minimum to dampen down. The carbonic maceration character comes out after 45 minutes, creating a mild Kool-Aid effect on some of the fruit flavors. (The effect is much nicer and more natural, of course, than those artificial flavors in Kool-Aid). A nice red for any occasion except a steak, in which case go for a full power Malbec. — 7 years ago
Cassis and blackberry with pepper. Thinner than expected with rich fruit. — 8 years ago
Good citrus and stone (slate?) flavors. Just enough sweetness to balance out the minerality. — 10 years ago
Great opportunity to try some wines from Lauren Ashton Cellars prior to release. First up is the Roussanne which comes from the Dineen Family Vineyard in the Columbia Valley. Clear and bright pale yellow. A little tight to start off with on the nose, some light hints of something cheesy and smokey. Opened up in the glass with some pears, citrus and white floral aromas. Savory start on the palate with lots of wet stones in the finish. After a few hours it became even smoother with some citrus and stone fruits. Moderate acidity (6/10) and full bodied. Beautifully complex bottling with a long and lingering finish. Great Roussanne, terrific value and definitely recommended. Drink till 2023. — 10 years ago

Eucalyptus, violets, creamy moth feel, oak — 11 years ago
David's Folly because the winemaker and his friends call each other David. His name is Tim. His friends have other names. Odd.
Cab and CF. Lovely rounded and high toned. Challenging being at a custom crush. Exciting future especially when they get their own space. #wbc18 — 8 years ago
Aka Côt. Fruitful flavor. I drink more white than red, so I enjoyed the lighter style of this red — 9 years ago
Great balanced, fruity wine, reminds me of my first trip to France.. Not sure why, but no other wine has come that close. Love it! — 10 years ago
The nose hints of oak with a smokey creamy palate. Not getting the tropical floral notes usually associated with Viognier — 11 years ago
