So damn delicious. Had this at two tastings on consecutive days.
Note from Mike Bennie (Wine Front 2017, PWS notes):
Whole bunch press. Demi-muid and barriques (pretty sure all old oak - how many years?). One of those exquisite clear perfumes, fresh cut stone fruit, marzipan, blanched almonds, and faint seaspray. Glossy texture, intense grapefruit orientated flavours. So very silky through its finish, then mouth-watering. Such a beautiful, pure carriage of flavour. Classy as. — 10 years ago
Vivid currant and blackberry. Fresh acidity and singing fruit. Oak totally in the background. Bramble fruit and wet dew makes this lively. — 11 years ago
Very good and a bit different for a chilled red — 5 months ago
Not giving much now. Wonder how this would track down the road. — 10 years ago

Sem/Sav blend. Grape fruit, green apple, lemon, guava, gooseberry and fresh cut grass. Nice drive and persistence on the palate, drinks well. — 9 years ago
Don't know how Delectable would do this. Winner of this year's Young Guns of Wine, Dormilona wines' new releases. From left to right:
2016 Clayface Pet Nat: Chenin. In typical Dormilona Clayface manner, fermented in amphora terracota pots. Wild ferment. No sulphur, fining, or filtration.
2016 Skinnie: Stunning skinnie made of Sauv Blanc. Again, fermented in amphora. Aged in amphora and barrel (old?). Battonage. Minimal sulphur. A smart and most importantly, delicious orange.
2016 Chenin Blanc: Oh wow! Seriously gotta have more Chenin from the Margaret. Gotta love the creaminess leesiness minerality length of this wine.
2016 Rosado: Rosé from Tempranillo. Solid! Though it didn't really stand out in this crowd.
Jo and Jimmy are truly rising stars of the region! Can't wait to see more of their wines. — 10 years ago

Ceccherini Cristiano
Bottle 25 of 600.
Only one big amphora produced.
A wine that isn't natural but post-natural.
Very low intervention but not a style that fits in a stereotype of a natural wine, a wine that says Margaret River. A lovely mineral and textural, perhaps not creamy, but it has a weight and a balance. Pleanty of flavour and very long persistence. — 2 days ago
