Got this at the fancy lookin wine store in town. The woman was really nice and she suggested this when we said we had been drinking natural wine recently. It’s really good! — 5 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2019 pours, a pale garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of raspberry, tart cherry, strawberry, star anise, red flowers, pine nuts, dry earth, old wood, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. This is a lovely Chianti Classico that may not be fancy, but it is certainly honest. Enjoy now through 2034. — 2 months ago
Great smooth flavor - not too weak or strong. — 5 years ago
We went to the fancy tasting rooms and the wines were meh. We went to the cheap and cheerful room at Freycinet and it was kapow! Great wine! — 10 months ago

Sure you could make a fancy drink but I like it as is. A perfect sipping vermouth...so lovely. — 5 years ago
Tree Kilpatrick
Fancy bottle. This was a gift from my friend given for me to try as a long aged wine she loved. Still has a dark color 11 years on. Aromas are perfumed and musky. Has a bit of berry. Bit of fancy soap or shampoo. Wet stone. Flavors are full and ripe. Juicy couture. Plenty of flinty and soil to go with the deep caisis and olive. This is balanced yet big. A Napa gem for sure. Lovely Cab. — 3 days ago
