A nicely acidic nose of tart raspberry and ripe red fruits. The palate is equally acidic, with a slight “sour warhead” characteristic, with flavors of ripe red fruits, tart cherries, and lemon notes but with a slight funky undertone that may be a result of the natural fermentation. I enjoyed this, fizzy and fun, high brunch recommendation, on its own, enjoy it as is. — 5 years ago

There’s been a wave of hip pet nats taking form as nothing more than fermented fruit juice in a clear bottle (Furlani for example). The Lunaria “bio budget” Pet Nat could easily have been that, but it’s not. It’s a restrained bone dry yeasty tart grapefruit peach sour tangerine mix. It’s enough to think about - it won’t blow your brains, but neither your wallet. — 6 years ago
