Very good but better when we decant. This one isn’t my favorite m liked. Deeper fruit. Dark. — 3 months ago
So not much has changed in 3 yrs since first trying this in the tasting room. The profile is lean and linear. 69 CS 16 Merlot and the rest PV. This clearly the weakest build of Jeff’s run of left bank builds. The 2014 was classic, so not huge numbers for the CS. THE TEXTURE IS LOVELY though. ;) 90+ for sure, keeping the streak ALIVE!! — 5 years ago
Very oaky almost sweet like it’s aged too long. — 11 days ago
Excellent drink. Needs to be decanted even at 25 years old. Drink now — 5 months ago
String and earthy with dark fruit. The tonella is better of course but this is still good. Drinking young. — 4 years ago
Exceptional cab. Smooth throughout with black cherry licorice and chocolate notes. — 2 months ago
Pleasantly surprised. Still dusty but good. A bit tanic. — 3 months ago
Deep and earthy. Drinking ok but could still use more time. — 4 years ago

The nose is blackcurrant (cassis), blackberry —generally a ripe dark fruit. Also, vanilla, dark chocolate. Perhaps tobacco (on the palate). Medium acidity, long and velvety finish. — 12 days ago
