Light, minerally, and citrus — 5 years ago

Delicious rustic red from Santorini, bright notes of citrus peel and pomegranate. Paired well with our lamb pasta at Sachet, definitely a food wine. Before food arrived, our guests implied there was too much acid for their taste, but not for me. This one needs some air before opening up. Would be very difficult to identify blind, very few reds with this profile. — 8 years ago

This is a great bottle. Mineral drive, good cut, medium+ body. Just really good wine that most people sleep on — 4 years ago
Funky, smoky aroma. Not for everyone. And certainly not a typical dessert wine. . But I enjoyed it. — 7 years ago
Really interesting. Good body / weight. Some serious funk which blew off. — 9 years ago
Woah #xinomavro rosé! Leans savory — 9 years ago
Learning new thangs: mushroom, smoke, bright, salt, texture. Abv 15%!!! And wildly balanced. We were poured entry level '15 from same producer n thought 'wow tropical Mom wine w/ punishingly long finish' — 10 years ago
Caramel nose. Light, juicy and fruity but a fantastic deep ripened fruit takes center stage after the juiciness fades. Great wine. Could be a Barbera, drenched in sun and whipped by sea laden winds. But it's Santorini's only red: mavrotragano. — 12 years ago
In addition to the great old-vine and oxidative elements, we still enjoyed a fairly bracing Santorini assyriko acidity and even volcanic minerallity. Bought at the winery. — 7 years ago
My first experience with Aidini. Complex little grape. The wine was straw yellow and a tad hazy. A bit of sweetness like a Viognier but combined with the crisp saltiness of an Assyrtiko. I liked it. — 8 years ago

Delicious summer day wine — 11 years ago
Medium gold color. Nose of wax, brown sugar, flowers. On the palate there is not much acidity, flavors of oxidized apples, exotic fruit, flowers, wax, and butter. Shows some evolution but in the same time great depth. A wine to pair with a meal instead of taking it by itself? Very good (89)
