This is a smoky noir classic cab from WA. Beware the femme fatale, pregnant with berries and charm, quaff graciously. — 3 years ago
A very good example of a typical Brut. Good nose, dry, smooth with pear overtones and perhaps a touch of citrus. A great first wine for Une Femme ‘The Juliette’ produced for Jen Pelka of The Riddler by Gonet-Médeville vineyards. At Parcelle Wine School Feb 11th — 6 years ago

Empty bottle shot? Yes, it was that good.
It’s too bad you can’t see the lovely transparent, but electric Fuschia color. Lots of time in contact with the skins — 12 hour maceration and lovingly foot tread prior to press, so drinks more like a light red than a white. There’s real Pinot fruit and Santa Cruz mountain character here: strawberries, rose hips, stones, fresh herbs, cool breezes blowing through the redwoods. Many layers. Surprise. Australia is not messing around. This is Syrah in a Northern Rhône world. My mind is blown, my dollars will be spent here more often. Thanks for the instigation @Alejandro Medina — 8 years ago

2015 vintage. Last tasted 11.4.21 (9.4). Late night PNP. Slightly less tannins and has picked up a bourbon-styled nose along with a mostly decomposed/integrated manure cameo. Light-medium body. Raspberry and delicate chocolate notes resonate. The cigar/tobacco influences still there but less pronounced. Wine is getting prettier but squarely between homme et femme. Finish is still no stops till Hades. 5.14.24. — 2 years ago

What a great wine and producer that I love. Super elegant and classy nose of yellow fruit with a floral side and some lemon zests. The palate shows ripe fruit but with great acidity to support it and balance that along with the nice richness and roundness of the silky and nicely textured palate, lengthy delicious finish too. Served blind, my wife called Meursault or Puligny 1er cru, which would be a great call, as it does feel more like a great Cote De Beaune. 94-95 pts
Quel vin magnifique. 94-95 — 6 years ago

Beautiful wine. Could age for far longer if desired. Soft and supple mouthfeel, lemon meringue and fresh baked French bread. Very happy. — 9 years ago
