An Orange Wine. Floral and Fruity. It’s like a halfway between a rich Chardonnay and Sherry. Perfect with Asian food or with full flavoured cheeses — 7 years ago

Bruised apricots gives way to racing acidity. Pours a pronounced amber tone, suggesting prolonged skin contact. $ — 8 years ago
With fruits from the San Pietro cru in Monforte d'Alba and aging in stainless steel and amphora for 10 month only, this is a simplistic yet beautiful interpretation of Nebbiolo.
Ripe cherry, strawberry, plum, rose petals with just hint of forest floor. Medium elegant body. Vibrant yet composed. Soft dusty tannins. Just lovely. — 2 years ago
Earthy, a bit of tannic finish but full bodied and smooth. Dried fruit peel, cigar — 5 years ago
Solid performer. Light to medium body with medium tannins, dark red berries and a little earth. — 6 years ago
Did not have that wine, but the Baròn Cabernet Sauvignon (not on Delectable) - fruity, complex and full-bodied. Would definitely have it again. — 7 years ago

Rip and rich taste of plum! Dinner at San Domenico Hotel-two Michelin stars. Very good dessert wine. Taormina, Sicily — 8 years ago
My love affair with this wine continues! Beautiful straw color, with a savory, resonant, and refreshing taste. The depth of character, and the texture, while it coats the tongue gets me every time. With that mouth feel, and long lingering flavors, it stands to be one of my favorites. — 9 years ago
This wine paired well with both barbacoa and mole poblano. Two different Mexican dishes that are often hard to pair with wine. The sweetness of the mole blended well with the fruitiness of the wine. — 4 years ago
Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 4 years ago
Cohesive aromas of blackberry and black currant are jammy but well restrained on the nose of this reserve wine. The wine is well balanced on the palate with firm chalky tannins and refreshing acidity, allowing the black-fruit flavors to ride deep into the finish. Needs a 3 hour decant MINIMUM — 5 years ago

Purchased at bachelorette wine tasting in April 2019, opened August 2019. As good as I remembered it! Drank with Piero for Sunday dinner grill night. — 7 years ago
Still super young, slowly opens up only after 48h!
Very fruit for a Sfursat, with ripe dark berries and blackberry jam, a touch of kirsch and some leather & spices in the background. On the palate more Sfursat like, the spices and richness comes out yet his one has a juicy acidity that is singing! Impeccably balanced, layered, complex yet elegant and with polished tannins. A beautiful wine - just don’t open it yet! — 8 years ago
