A ripe grapefruit, peach, lemon of course and stone. Quite delicious. — 3 months ago
Decanted for 90min prior to service. The 2013 pours, a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. Small signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, mostly dark with some red forest fruit: blackberries, black currants, rotting strawberries, a fresh package of red rope licorice, purple flowers, old pennies, and dry, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin(+?) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is my first time enjoying a wine made with Tazzelenghe and, if I can help it, will not be my last. Drink now. — 7 months ago
Cherry aroma, sweet on its own, shifts into slightly sour notes with cedar and spice accents when paired with a spicy sausage and pasta dish. — 21 days ago

This Italian IGT from Central Tuscany is truly a great representation of Merlot and Sangiovese blend is all about. What a great combination, this wine opens up with a unique aroma of red fruits, baked dark cherries and chocolate. Very soft tannins, smooth to the very end. Long but over lingering finish. Loved its balanced acidity and mouthfeel. — 4 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale golden yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple with slight citrus and honey notes and herb spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 5 days ago
