Lovely hoppy beer, refreshing and perfect for summer — 8 years ago

Great beer, but the typical characteristics of a Pale Ale is lacking. I would recommend it highly as a good drinking beer, but the hard biting hops are missing — 8 years ago

Rating is for the Rascal, brewed with ginger. Delicious, reminded me of a light pumpkin beer because of the spiced ginger. — 9 years ago

Just what I needed. — 11 years ago
This was delicious. Very drinkable. Possibly a bit punchy for a session beer but a very smooth amber ale nonetheless. — 11 years ago

Brewed by Shepheard Neame, Britain's oldest brewery, especially for Aldi, this porter is a good offering of the old style that once made up many a pint in pubs before the 1960s. A good dark colour with hints of coffee and chocolate and malt. Light carbonation with a tan head that dissipates slowly.
A good beer at a bargain £1.59 per bottle. — 3 years ago
