I am a big Mourvèdre fan. This strange little winery out of the Yakima Valley does a pretty decent job. One of the few bottles I can remember with absolutely no vintage year on it. 🤔 . Whatever. However, it is definitely worth the price point of under $20. — a year ago
Soft Lucius feminine - enjoying this wine! — 9 years ago
Beautiful Lucius juicy red berry flavor~ tasty on the front side and smooth deep finish on the back end — 2 months ago
Nose: aged nebbiolo. Old library. Cherry remnants. Dried roses. Expansive as it opens.
Palate: silky cherry juice. So elegant. Sour cherries. Lovely. So fresh.
The nose is approaching amazing old Nebbiolo. The palate is still half way between young Lucius fruit and old nebbiolo.
I’d give this 3 years at this point. But it proves that these wines can and will age beautifully — 2 years ago
This wine will give the run for the money (around $20-ish), taste a fell absolute Lucius, a beautiful concept guided by legendary Michel Roland from a single vineyard at the valley de Uco, Argentina. A complex blend dominated by half (50%) Malbec, 24% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 7% cab sauv, 3% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cab Franc. Tanning are solid, inky and waxy texture with a long finish.
