Inky wafting dark fruit, cocoa and vanilla. Decadent nose followed by a smooth silky palate with gobs of fruit, built for the international consumer and wine critics… my only complaint is no one would guess Cab Franc. No herbaceousness, no pepper, fruit was black & blue as opposed to red, no varietal typicity, but that is just my opinion. Still delicious — 2 days ago

Denise had this in Marcela, the upper market tapas bar in Plaza de San Marcelo, Leon. She really loved it as a classy wine. It is dry & costs €6 a glass. Believe it costs about £22 a bottle in the UK — 3 years ago
