Nice to have this wine again after 11 years. Visited the vineyard in Chile in 2011. A bit too international in profile; I prefer their regular Syrah. A little watery at the start, but then gets more intense and flavorful in the mid-range and after taste. Enjoyed with a burger at Wollensky’s Grill. — 4 years ago

Another Cabo Costco find for under $15. I’m not a Pinot fan, didn’t have high hopes for a PN from Chile but was surprised by this wine, probably because it has more characteristics of a cab than a Pinot. — 6 years ago

"Du måste smaka detta. Det luktar bajs", utropade min flickvän hemkommen från vinprovning i Stockholm. Sagt och gjort. Visst doftar det någon slags spillning. Men inte toan på ett Öresundståg, utan ljuvliga fekalier på en sommaräng på Österlen. Animaliskt, rökigt, syrligt, friskt, lite mintigt. En del tanniner. Kan väl säga att det smakar mer som andra syrahviner jag druckit. Jag vet att Syrah-viner ska vara lite som korviga/köttiga som detta, men de Rhoneviner jag druckit är betydligt mer diskreta. Kul att det är sån skillnad! Imorgon: Barcelona. Då jobbar jag vidare med provandet. — 11 years ago
