A fruit forward nose with ripe cherry, also some herbs. A powerful palate that's an interesting balance of a light body, a lot of ripe fruit, some tart acidity, and big tannins.
100% indigenous Lefkada, the only winery in Cyprus doing it.

Lots of red and black fruits on the nose and palate, a nice round body with some peppery soft tannins.

First wine from Cyprus for me . But this wine is great value . It has such an interesting herb profile . You can almost taste greek herbs in the wine . Really nice.. Only 12.5 % alcohol — 4 years ago
Very aromatic and powerful on the palate with grapefruit and lemon, a little pithy, light and tart with acidity, but everything in balance. More like a New Zealand Sauv Blanc than a French Sauv Blanc, but more subdued.

Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of tart red berry fruit, fresh herbs and funky roasted vegetables. Red fruit (cranberry, cherry, raspberry and pomegranate) on the palate with additional flavors of black tea, black pepper and those roasted vegetables. Note of wet stones and minerals on the very oaky finish. Chewy tannins and high acidity which actually balance themselves pretty well. Interesting. Thanks for including in your Cabernet Franc Tasting, Ron B! — 4 days ago
