Gisborne Chardonnay produces sweet melon characters which in this wine have been overtaken by very ripe stone fruit and aged characters of Creme Caramel and almost burnt honey. Bang on drinking and perfect timing. 2005 vintage — 12 years ago

Amazing quality/price ratio. Graphite and black pepper aromatics points to the smidge of Syrah, blackberries with super fine tannins, ably supported with a lovely vanillin finish. — 10 years ago
Not as flinty as the name suggests, but very good. 11.5%! First experience of a NZ CB. — 12 years ago
