Big Nose Full Body Wine Sales in Brooklyn. “May I finish that Riesling?”
Considered white Burgundy or Etna Bianco.
Called Canary Islands. Salty and reductive.
Lots of acid. Should’ve considered Willamette as this reminds me of Morgen Long wines. Good vintage for most of the west coast. — 9 days ago
A full bodied blend of mostly Arneis and Cortese (Arcese). Dosage at bottling makes this almost a pet nat with fleshy orchard fruit flavors and earthy, cider-y tones. Effervescent. Biodynamic. — 18 days ago
Light in color but deep and wild in style with crushed flower petals, red forest berries, spiced plum and garrigue. The tannins are present but not overbearing. Abv. a bit pushy. An iron fist in a velvet glove. Just a dang good wine for the money. Sustainably farmed. — 3 days ago
Trivia at Aldo Sohm wine bar. Our team lost by one point. This wine won by many points. I blind tasted my staff and they converged around Rhone. Great stuff! — 6 days ago
@Delectable this is the “Misto Mare.” A brand new field blend from Lageder comprised of 20 grapes from vineyards converting to biodynamics. Just the slightest blush in the glass. Jasmine, fuzzy peach, and stone fruit stuffed with minerals. Well textured. Insane packaging. Another QPR banger. — 12 days ago
One of my favorite wines I tasted at the estate. Competes with Premier Cru Chablis in my eyes with super charged acid and texture. White flowers, Meyer lemon, bay leaf, and grapefruit pith with deep saline minerality and a long finish. Aged a year in neutral French oak on the lees. Pair with grilled octopus. — 5 days ago
Mangos and minerals. Clean. Very approachable now. Not fat or concentrated considering the warm vintage. — 7 days ago
Valencia orange. Cantaloupe. Wild herbs. Salty. Has some tannin. Pair with pork belly bibimbap or fried calamari. Approachable and versatile. Great packaging and QPR. — 11 days ago
I’ll take one pool full of this, please. — 21 days ago

A beautiful gift! Paired with boquerones and jamon iberico brought back from Spain (don’t tell TSA). Drunk over two hours and absolutely singing. Nice nuttiness to compliment the acorn forward Iberico, and wonderful acidity and saltiness to compliment the anchovies. One of those celebratory bottles that you can stew over sip after sip, or just let go and lift the glass. — 14 hours ago
