Quite viscous on the swirl, dark and seems unfiltered; clean on the nose, typical blue and black fruit like mul- and blue-berries, black currant, and nice pyrazines, ceder, and graphite, very little oak; taste is fruit and acid rich, mid-palate moderately exciting but at the finish it almost explodes in a spicy, opulent rush. First sip was tart, but after that it was full bodied and smooth. Very enjoyable. Berries (black/mul?) on subsequent sips. Semi dry finish. — 11 years ago
