Amazing Chinese wine — 6 years ago
Very well done, probably the best wine I had from China ever, please keep in mind that my experience is limited, well balanced, lots of black fruits, wood, earth, medium to full body, good acidity, well integrated tannins and a long balanced finish. My score 88+, drink to 2023 — 7 years ago
A very well-balanced merlot from Hebei region, a compote of red fruits, aromatic with rounded tannins, fruity and slightly juicy. A hint of chocolate and some dried leaves and black forrest by the back-end of the palate. Moderate texture and finish. — 8 months ago
Introduced to me by the sommelier at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai. The wine comes from a Xinjiang vineyard. Rkatsiteli (stands for “Red Stem”) is a grape from Georgia (Europe/Asia) for making white wine. It is surprisingly good. Crisp, leafy taste, sweet tasting (pear & coconut), mineral — 6 years ago
Perfumed, Elegant, black berries, cassis, well managed tannings and acidity, long finish — 6 months ago
100% Syrah from Dongshui in the Yunnan Region. All driven by a mix of red fruits, red berries, and dark cherry on the nose, hints of coffee and a touch of oak. Approachable, and a bit of earthy on the mid range of the palate as well. Nice texture and moderate body. — 8 months ago

Shangri-La “Sacred Land – Legend” Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage 2020 – Xi Dang, Rong Zhong & Si Nang Villages, Shangri-La, China 🇨🇳🍷
A captivating high-altitude blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, sourced from select plots at varying elevations beneath the majestic Meili Snow Mountain in the Shangri-La region.
Appearance: Deep, bright garnet red with remarkable clarity.
Aromas: Blackberry, black cherry, and ripe vanilla weave into an intricate, mountain-kissed bouquet.
Palate: Full-bodied and plush, with layers of ripe dark fruit wrapped around soft tannins and lifted by refreshing mountain acidity. The finish is long and harmonious, revealing the distinctive elegance of the Shangri-La plateau.
A wine that surprises, charms, and lingers — even for the most discerning palate.
Cheers! 🥂
