This was a very fun experiment. I bought this for 149€ due to the 2013 vintage being terrible. Would this be a waste of money or a bargin? It was a bargin. Classic high end Bordeaux nose with complexity and flavour. Lots of mint. Tailed off quite quickly but still so much to enjoy. The art of wine making should shine through on "off" years as all of the producers make excellent wines in a 09 or 10 vintage. Will definately buy more!

Very dark and brooding wine. Blackcurrants and wood all every expressive. Will continue to improve. Served out of a magnum and paired with venison wellington — 17 days ago

Was expecting this to be good and didnt let us down. All about blackberries and leather...silky smooth. Goes on for minutes. Still felt like a baby with years and years in front of it. Will be interesting to see this again in 5-10 years. Served with Hachis Parmentier — 3 days ago
Brilliant and complex wine. Personally i couldnt find any hint of sauvignon blanc on the nose and it reminds me more of a chardonnay. Great use of wood and acidity. Will improve in the coming years. Highly recommmend! Served with roasted cauliflower soup — 10 days ago
Aged beautifully with brioche and baked apples. Delicious with excellent QPR — 10 days ago
After drinking mainly Bordeaux and Rioja over the christmas period this was much lighter. Nose of cherries, raspberries, tar and orange peel. Palate was similar but needed more air to catch up. Elegant and balanced. Paired excellently with roast duck legs, orange sauce and roast potatoes. — a month ago

Impressive showing. Bursting with apples and pears. Still young...would love to try one of these after longer bottle aging. — 3 days ago
