So smooth and delicious. Bold and strong that would stand up to stronger food flavours. — 8 years ago

Not a bad wine by any means, just lacks a bit of class. Aromas of brandy, cloves, cedar, plum and dark cherries. Has decent intensity to it but finish is a disappointment — 10 years ago
Yum. Usually hate Merlots but this shit is balanced. — 11 years ago
JP cracked this bad boy out of the Casa Muscat wine cellar. — 13 years ago
Rich and bold. — a year ago
2019 vintage. Very lean and stemmy side of Cabernet Franc, but without overt greenness. Red currant, red plum, lingonberry, violet, tarragon, Thai basil. Medium-minus body, good acidity for a warm-weather red. We're in the home stretch, fellow retail folk! — 6 years ago
Black cherry, blckberry jam, ketchup, smoke, cassis, purple flowers, nutmeg, baking spice. — 9 years ago
4hr decant - ripe Coonawarra mix of black/red fruit with sandy tannin. — 10 years ago
Another awesome drop from the home of Alan Nelson. — 11 years ago
Dark opaque ruby in appearance. Bold bouquet of intense sage, spearmint, and pine bark. Dried plum, herbs, and green peppercorns on the palate. Medium plus bodied, dry. Alcohol medium plus. Tannins are soft. This Coonawarra Cab is unique, quite the departure from the over-oaked, fruit dominant Cali experience. With the long finish, I'm going to give this a nod up to 94 points. This pairs perfectly with hard cheeses.

A delicious Cabernet for under $20. Has notes of plum, Cassis, sage, tobacco and black licorice. — 8 years ago
V15. Pretty good! Fragrant eucalyptus, spearmint and cedar nose. Rich, blackberry fruit. Round, black pepper, and mocha finish. Good food or entertaining wine. — 9 years ago
Bought this in late 2015.
Still far too young.
Drinkable none the less but could do with being buried in the cellar for a few more years.
Wonderful bouquet rich in trimmings from the coonawarra but all the properties have not yet introduced tgemselves to each other.
Wine maker. Gregory Foster.
The 2009 is ready for the pallet now.
Looks like the next one will be opened 2018.
