The 2021 Chiesamonti is a potent, full-bodied wine that is going to need time to unwind. Herbs, wildflowers, spice, leather and menthol build in this backward, potent red from Le Boncie. There’s plenty of stuffing and textural intensity in this deep, resonant wine. I can't wait to see how it ages. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2024)

Fairly light, but delicious! Beginning to show early signs of age. #heirloomcafe — 10 months ago

Drinking so well still! I was expecting a tired wine but this was pulsating with primary and tertiary notes. A beautiful nose rose easily from the glass with sour cherry, raspberry, balsamic, leather, and sandalwood, with subtle notes of crushed stones. Medium bodied, with medium and fine grain tannins, a long, gentle finish is fresh and persistent. — 3 days ago
