Очень приличное насыщенное, но спокойное шардоне, хоть я и не любитель. — 2 months ago
Unexpectedly really good. Medium oak, not too buttery. Nice fruit notes. Not too acidic. From the Cove. A solid Cali Chardonnay to me. Good value. — 6 months ago

This wine is colored yellow-gold. I found the nose to be strange, with apple, pear, and nectarine aromas up front, followed by an odd scent of vanilla and butter. It has a hint of the smell of the butter offered on popcorn at the movies. The palate gives the fruit center stage as well, with oak notes a bit more prominent. The acidity is nice and the mouthfeel is full. It's not a wine I will seek out in the future, even though I rather like buttery Chardonnay. — a year ago

This is aging well. Less fruit forward than I remember. Mellowed tartness from tannins, red and dark fruits and still a bit high on the alcohol content — 24 days ago

2012 Stock Syrah, not Grenache. Stein was the Grenache in the 2012 offering. Error in the database. Wow- Syrah of the tasting. Lovely fruit and lots of iodine and violets. Loved it. 2015 Le chemin vers l’ heresie Grenache was silky smooth and a lovely start to our Friendsgiving meal. — 7 months ago
Does not taste like a Pinot. But it is delicious. Hefty, but not tannic or spicy. Dark berry flavor, but not super earthy — 4 years ago
Great aroma and taste of blueberries, mild oak, mild dry — 5 years ago

1973 vintage. Okay fill. Opened with a Durand. Cork 80% saturated. Musty, hot, slightly “raisined” nose. Light medium body. Drank more like a Burgundy at this stage of life. Amplifying savory aspects currently. Definitely instructive and an absolute blast to hit the FLB (Friday Lunch Bunch) with. These formative, ancient Napa Cabs always so revealing, primal and archival. The 1973 cork a little longer than those short stuff 1968 and 1969 ones. 6.12.26. — 13 days ago
