A cor é bem clara, chega a ser um tanto transparente. A primeira vista parece fraco, mas tem uma boa densidade. O aroma é bom, parece algo frutado, madeira e um coiro bem novo. O sabor é ótimo, um vinho muito equilibrado, tem uma sensação alcoólica sem queimar, tatinos bem suaves, uma leve sensação de amadeirado e couro novo.
