Not so big and oily as the new world viogners can be and sans technical flaws. Aroma is spicy apples, namely nutmeg and clove but a slight under tone of celery. That spicy vegetable note that plays very nicely in the aroma. Flavor is still medium bodied but is so well balanced by tart apple acidity that is almost drinks cleaner and smoother than you think. Anyway played very nicely with German dinner. The acidity cut through buttery cheesy kase spatzel and it had enough body to stand against fried pork. — 7 months ago
