Monforte d'Alba Rosso dei Dardi Red Blend

One of the great values from Piedmont (imo). Violets, cranberries, blood orange. Sustains well. Very rounded and balanced. Packs a punch especially given the decidedly mid weight body. Excellent.

Ripe Strawberry, tart candied cherries and cranberry. Off-dry / medium sweet with nice tart acidity.

No oak. Reminds of serious nebbiolo. Good sturdy tannins nice chilled

Nebbiolo with complexity but light on its feet. No oak but surpasses more expensive Nebbiolo for sure.
