Immediate cranberry on nose...leading into bright cherry, red apple peel, hibiscus, a bit of mushroom, pine needle and brought back to bright red fruits and shadows of spice still lingering. Definitely new world with great respect for gentle handling and place. Lovely.

At a good drinking window, just a touch burnished still with good acidity and a Mendo base. Beautiful.

Improving in the bottle. Acid & oak are integrating & starting to show an almost truffle-like secondary note which accents the classy, fresh tart cherry & red berry fruit. Finessed & pretty.
