Always a great food pairing. Earthy, minerally, berries.

Still one of my all-time favorite wines, but out of a mag it needed more than 24 hours to open up. Brighter than previous vintages, but after it opened up all that violet, smoke, black rock and little red berries were right there. Had to finish off Thanksgiving dinner with something else, but handled some boudin the next day better than expected.

Juicy red fruits that bounce and with a little grippyness. Going down crazy smooth!
