Non vintage southern Italian style Red. It's big and bold and rich. It reminds me of primitivos I had. I believe primitivo is actually in the blend, along with montepulciano and Sangiovese if I recall correctly.
The nose shows pencil lead, caramel, stewed red fruits. The palate is a bit more linear and acid driven than expected based on the nose. Stewed red fruits, some caramel notes, and a bitter note that starts in mid palate and becomes borderline overwhelming in the end. It's very cheap (5-7 euro here in Poland) but it's for people who like big bold primitivos that benefited from warm and sunny climates.

Colleague's farewell party wine 5.
Best wine of the evening - silky, smooth, warm, sapid red. Undisclosed blend (partially dried grapes announced).
Deep inky red, ruby rim.
Oplulence of raisin, mocha, prune, blackberry, bilberry and coffee aromas.
Velvety, intricately complex palate of nearly full body. Gentle acidity & tannins. Dominance of black fruits, raisin, cinnanom and chocolate.
Medium length aftertaste didn't let me rate it higher.
Enjoyed it solely.

Apr 29th, 2020Мощные красные ягоды и лакокраска, сушеная слива и корица. Сочное, южное такое вино с доминантой дерева и сухих специй во вкусе. Балансирует на грани попсовости, конечно, но не перешагивает. Просто, вкусно, хорошо "на каждый день".
